Kip Boyle spent years securing the enterprise as the CISO at Pemco Inurance in Seattle.

But he admits he failed to properly secure his kids against the dangers of the internet, like a lot of parents unknowingly do.

So now he has a mission to help parents, including information security professionals, secure the cyber homefront to protect the family.

“As parents, you are the executive decision maker of your home. You may not think of it like that, but you are. And you may not realize you have cyber risks, but you do.

He presented at the 16th annual SecureWorld Seattle, Seattle's largest cybersecurity conference. Here are his "Top 10 Tips for Mastering Cybersecurity for Parents." 

“This message for parents is around thinking like an executive, recognizing your cyber risks, and acting accordingly," he says.
