A few years ago, SecureWorld Denver was held when the city was setting record highs for October. The temperatures outside were in the 80s.

This year, it's happening with snow in the air and highs running 30-40 degrees below average.

Somehow this makes the collaboration and idea sharing at the seventh annual cybersecurity conference even better. And the gathering has moved to The Cable Center.

What to expect at SecureWorld Denver

What can you plan for October 29th and 30th in Denver?

This year, expect dozens of fantastic sessions and some amazing keynote speakers.

Keynote presentations on Day 1

Christopher McMahon, Special Agent of the United States Secret Service, will present "Business Email Compromise: Real World Stories and Practical Defense."

During this presentation, hear from the point person on BEC cases investigated by the U.S. Secret Service. He'll share true crime examples of and practical steps for defense against BEC losses, which now stand at $26 billion in the last six years. Hear practical defenses against this type of cybercrime.

Bruce Sussman, Emmy-winning journalist for SecureWorld, will present "7 Ways to Boost InfoSec's Influence (and Yours) by Communicating Differently."

Whether your audience is the board, your team, or any part of the business, this session will help you and your communication stand out. The speaker is a long-time TV reporter turned cybersecurity journalist who shares a framework for powerful communication you can implement immediately.

Keynote presentations on Day 2

The Colorado = Security podcast will broadcast live, with co-hosts Robb Reck, CISO of Ping Identity, and Alex Wood, CISO of Pulte Financial Services, interviewing Dale Drew, Chief Security Officer of Zayo Group.
