Jay Irwin joined Teradata InfoSec COE in 2010 as a Sr. Security Architect and has been its Director since 2012. He has a BA cum Laude from Drake University and JD with Honors from Drake Law School. After many years in law enforcement, legal investigations and litigation, Jay provided information security consulting for large companies. He writes and lectures on cyber security, information assurance and international privacy regulation. Accomplishments include developing a security risk assessment a program for 47 state agencies, creating an information assurance program for a key defense contractor, and managing the audit logging and monitoring compliance effort for a large financial institution. Jay speaks at Partners, TIFs, PACs, The Data Warehouse Institute, and data security forums.
